On 17 January 2026, JinShang International Pavilion in WellTown transformed into a boundless “World Cultural Salon”, where a grand international fashion gala was held.

JinShang extended an invitation to the world, and the call was answered by a distinguished gathering of diplomats from Slovakia, Pakistan, Cyprus, Chile, Turkey, Jamaica, Peru, Mexico, Australia and other countries, leaders of international chambers of commerce, as well as top-tier artists and designers.

01 New Chapter of Silk Road:

A Gala Rooted in Connection

In the presence of Ms. Lilian Tian, Founder of JinShang Group; Ms. Lenka Suchova, Founder of Global Business Network Platform; H.E. Milan Lajčiak, Ambassador of Slovakia to China; H.E. Khalil Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to China; H.E. Koula Sophianou, Ambassador of Cyprus to China; H.E. Arthur Williams, Ambassador of Jamaica to China; Mr. Peter Feranec, Director of the Slovak Cultural Centre in Beijing; and Mr. Vaughn Barber, Chairman of the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce, symbolic knots representing close cooperation and enduring friendship were solemnly tied together.

“We are not only launching a project, but also tying a symbolic knot on the modern Silk Road,” noted Radka Mazáková, a renowned international journalist and host, in her opening remarks.

This ceremony symbolizes the brand-new launch of cultural, commercial and creative connections along the modern Silk Road, and also marks the official debut of JinShang International Pavilion as an international cultural exchange platform.

02 Gathering of Guests:

Consensus and Vision

H.E. Milan Lajčiak, the newly appointed Ambassador of Slovakia to China, attended the event in person. He stated that cultural exchange is his core mission, and announced the plan to establish a Slovak Cultural Centre in Beijing to promote mutual understanding between the two countries’ people.

Ms. Lilian Tian, Founder of JinShang Group, interpreted cultural integration with her philosophy of “Draping the World on the Body”. She clarified that JinShang’s mission is to discover and bring together the world’s most outstanding talents and stories, spreading beauty across the globe.

In her speech, Ms. Shirley Zhang, Vice President of JinShang Group and Project Director of JinShang International Pavilion, expressed sincere gratitude to all supporting partners, especially the Embassy of Slovakia in China, diplomatic missions of various countries and WellTown.

Ms. Cao Huijun, General Manager of WellTown Shopping Center said that WellTown is committed to becoming a cultural exchange platform that connects the world and conveys beauty, providing a stage for the integration and coexistence of diverse cultures.

Ms. Lenka Suchova, Founder of Global Business Network Platform and the core curator of the event, expressed her delight at this cooperation. With her outstanding integration capabilities, she successfully linked brands from multiple countries to present this wonderful debut show in Asia.

Mr. Peter Feranec, Director of the Slovak Cultural Centre in Beijing and First Secretary of the Embassy of Slovakia in China, pointed out that this fashion show is an excellent example of dialogue between countries and continents, demonstrating the wonderful possibilities of mutual influence among different nations.

From a business perspective, Mr. Vaughn Barber, Chairman of the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce, affirmed that platforms like JinShang International Pavilion, which integrate culture, commerce and communication, are of positive and practical significance and can lay a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.

03 Beauty in Diversity：

A Multifaceted Symphony of Art

The event presented an aesthetic journey from the world back to the East, featuring works ranging from the conscious design of UK-based KEKA, the minimalism of Slovakia’s VELGUD, the modern tailoring of Zuzana Háková to the sculptural pieces of Stefania Naseska from North Macedonia; from the warm sustainable hand-weaving of Hungary’s Noen Design, the distinctive dress with personal stories by Ms. Julia Ndong Asue, wife of the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to China, and the gorgeous traditional costumes showcased by Ms. Maryam Mehmood, wife of the Ambassador of Pakistan to China, to the finale featuring the intangible cultural heritage Xiangyunsha (gambiered silk) craftsmanship of Chinese brand Jiaming Collection and the international-style works of designer Zoe Chen.

The artistic performances were equally spectacular: besides the opening guzheng performance, the impromptu piano recital by pianist Blues Lee, the vibrant Hawaiian hula dance and the dynamic Latin dance together created a comprehensive sensory experience.

Artist and cross-industry friend Wendy shared a friendship story inspired by beauty. In the finale, scholars from Schwarzman College of Tsinghua University presented a joint singing performance in Chinese and English, adding a youthful touch to this international gala.

During the final networking session, guests from various countries, designers and partners continued their discussions, with inspiration sparking amid toasts and laughter.

JinShang is dedicated to seeking out souls as shining as gold, to co-weave a magnificent chapter of the times. JinShang International Pavilion will always serve as an open “Global Cultural Salon”, continuously connecting the world and turning every visit into a beautiful moment of cultural mutual learning.
